L'objectif principal de cette visite d'étude pour la région autonome de Prešov est d'échanger avec GéoBretagne sur la création et la coordination d'une infrastructure régionale de données spatiales dans le contexte de l'Union européenne.
Cette visite d'étude sera également l'occasion de discuter de collaborations potentielles et de défis communs entre les régions de Bretagne et de Prešov en matière de gestion des données localisées.
Elle traitera des aspects techniques et institutionnels d'une infrastructure régionale de données spatiales en mettant l'accent sur des partenariats entre les institutions locales, régionales et nationales, l'approche centrée sur l'utilisateur, ainsi que la conception de services et d'applications.
Enfin, cette visite d’étude s'inscrit dans le cadre de l'initiative "Catching Up Region" et du programme TAIEX (Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument) de la Commission européenne à Prešov, la Banque mondiale étant en assistance technique.

The primary aim is of this study visit is for the Self-Governing Region of Prešov to learn from GeoBretagne experience in establishing and coordinating a Regional Spatial Data Infrastructure in the context of the EU.

opportunity to discuss potential collaborations and common challenges between Bretagne and Prešov Regions related to geospatial data management.
This study visit will address both technical and institutional aspects of a Regional Spatial Data Infrastructure focusing on key elements such as partnerships between local, regional and national institutions, user-centered approach as well as services and applications design.
Lastly, this study visit is conducted as part of the European Commission’s Catching Up Region initiative in Prešov for which the World Bank is providing technical assistance.
